Hello readers!
I finished the new song that I started working on yesterday, so now the EP is currently sitting at six songs. I have the lyrics completely done, as well as I very clear idea of the form and arrangement. I will be adding in some lead guitar tomorrow, and will take that time to add some guitar to a couple of other songs as well.
I'm still toying with the idea of maybe one more short song (likely instrumental) but we'll see how the album feels as it is. I have to keep in mind too that I only have until the end of next week to get this done, so I don't want to load myself up with more work than I can reasonably handle (though let's be honest, I'm super stubborn, so if I decide I want to add another song then I'm going to do it, even if it's not particularly smart of me to do so).
I want to have all of my tracking done by the end of the weekend so that I can spend all of next week doing the mixing and mastering.
